Are you affected by some type of disability, do you feel that your Government and councils do not listen to your concerns.

What about parking do you avoid busy places because you can not get a car park? Should the disabled be forced to use parking ticket machines that are not accessible?

Do uneven surfaces and broken footpaths make moving about difficult.

We want our Government and councils to listen. This website has links to contact your council DAG or use our Facebook page to make your concerns public.

Disability Advisory NZ is a more open group than local councils run. Disability Advisory Group NZ on Web and Facebook

I am sending this to 4 people in the hope that the message gets through. The way stallholders are seemingly allowed to block public access to 3 footpaths.

This is the third time I have written to WDC on exactly the same issue, my followers want the promoters fined. I want footpath access just like the abled bodied people get.

After my first complaint Carla from WDC, tried to turn the blame on me and sided with the promoter.

After my second complaint, a response was received from WDC, that gave no answer.
As CEO/Chairperson of Disability Advisory Group New Zealand, I really need to know if WDC plans to continue to allow the footpath to be blocked, resulting in disabled people such as myself being denied access.

I am including photo-shopped images to show how I am being inconvenienced by having to detour The red Arrows show the shortest detour but this can be also blocked by cars the blue arrows show the longer detour.

This is the question, is it permitted that stallholders and promoters are allow at will to block disabled access?

So the Hatea loop is not a loop for the disabled on market day, if a wheelchair or mobility scooter user in run down and killed because they are being forced to cross 3 roads instead of using the footpath, will the footpath be unblocked after a disabled person is killed or injured.

Disability Advisory Group New Zealand. Positive is the way forward. March 2018 I have started Disability Advisory Group New Zealand.

My new online DAG New Zealand will bring any important disability related issues to the attention of Local Councils and Government in the hope of changing them to something positive to benefit all people both the disabled and non disabled.

Transparency is the best detergent, we want our online DAG to be open and honest
